Sunstream’s line of boat lifts and accessories now includes the latest generation of its free-standing hydraulic lift, introduced 25 years ago.

The SunLift SLX was redesigned with stainless steel braid hoses and cylinders and a hydraulic pump that is 30 percent more efficient, faster and quieter than previous models. It can be used in fresh and salt water.

The lift also includes Sunstream’s SoftStop technology, which allows a boat to smoothly stop in the ideal, over-center locked position. Also, a Bluetooth control system, enabled with a key fob, and mobile device app provide lift data and diagnostics.

“Sunstream is on a mission to create breakthrough product lines, like the SunLift SLX, that will get people boating more often, with more fun, while protecting the boat they love,” Sunstream Boat Lifts CEO Ken Hey said in a statement.

The SunLift SLX is compatible with the Kent, Wash.-based manufacturer’s line of SwiftShield automatic covers and canopies. Leg jacks can be installed for seasonal water level changes, and clean bunk systems are available for pontoon and tritoon boats.

Lift capacities range from 5,000 to 30,000 pounds. The 6,500-pound model starts at $10,480.

The company said the certification follows a six-month training course covering installation, service and maintenance.
